If I didn't think that your CV was good enough to get into .... or to join my group, I would not have replied to your original e-mail. I get 10s of e-mails like your each day and I do not have time to reply to them all. I cannot make any promises at this stage because it is very early for consideration for Fall 2018. I only accept 1 or 2 new students each year and therefore, I won't be making any decisions until early 2018.
