Candidates are welcome to apply for a PhD position in the field of Biomimetic Nanosensor and Nanoelectronics, in Prof. Cui’s research group, department of Biological Engineering, Utah State University, USA (with Graduate Assistantship and Health Insurance).
The research area is biomimetic nanosensor and nanoelectronics for medical diagnosis, which will involve interdisciplinary knowledge and skills in electronic device fabrication and characterization, biological recognition and reaction, nanotechnology, surface functionalization and science, microfluidics, wireless antenna, and medical diagnosis.
Preferred Backgrounds: Candidates with Bachelor and Master Degrees in Engineering; with study/research background in electronic device, wireless antenna, and/or bioengineering; with excellent GPA and GRE.
The position will start in September 2013, or January 2014 or September 2014, and the application will be reviewed immediately till the position is filled.
