The arts’ aim is to express and reflect the beauty and creativity. But which art is more magnificent than the nature? Not to mention that it is the environment that inspires most of artists. I strongly believe that the company should donate the money to the environment for the following reasons.
Firstly, ecosystem is in real danger. Plant life, animal life, and people all depend on each other to survive and if one of them perish, it will affect the whole living things. For example, if the scarcity of one special tree which is home for bat breeds would result in reduction in bats that eat some harmful insects destroying the human’s crops and farmlands. However, investment in this area would provide protected areas as a healthy habitat for endangered species.
Second, according to some statistics, pollution threatens the health of up to two hundred millions people worldwide. Pollution is so widespread; the air we breathe is polluted with harmful emissions of factories and cars, the water we consume is contaminated to chemical waste material of industries, jungles and grasslands are full of plastic garbage. The environmental activists can use this money to promote public awareness about negative consequences of throwaway habits, put ban on chemical disposals, and take other measures.
Third, global warming is compounding the problem of environment, and even if we take actions now, its results would remain for at least a century. Heat-trapping gasses like carbon dioxide and methane, which indiscriminate use of fossil fuel are largely responsible for them, accumulate in the atmosphere causing the global rise of temperature. This event has many impacts on the environment regarding the melt down of ice glaciers, increase of sea levels, and growth of sever typhoons and hurricanes.
To sum it up, I believe these problems require more attention and urge everyone to collaborate in protecting and conserving the environment. So I recommend this company to contribute its money in these area.
