Tuition fees
Åbo Akademi University does not currently charge tuition fees from degree students. Tuition fees will however be introduced in 2017 in accordance with the government proposal to introduce fees for non-EU/EEA students. The fees will be introduced for non-EU/EEA students starting their studies in from autumn 2017 onwards. Students admitted earlier will not be affected by the fees.
A decision by the university board from 7.6.2016 states that the tuition fees will be between 8000 and 12000 euro per academic year. The rector will set the fee for each programme. Decisions about the tuition fees per programme at Åbo Akademi University will be taken during the summer 2016. Information about the tuition fees will be published here. 
There will also be scholarships available for tuition-fee paying students from 2017 onwards. More information about the scholarships available and how to apply for them will be available in autumn 2016.
