McMaster University
دانشگاه مکمستر یکی از دانشگاه معروف کاناداست که در شهر هامیلتون واقع شده است. این دانشگاه در سال 1887 تاسیس شده و نامگذاری آن براساس نام ویلیام مکمستر بانکدار و سناتور کانادایی صورت گرفته است. دانشگاه دارای شش دانشکده از جمله DeGroote School of Business می باشد. این دانشگاه یکی از دانشگاه های پیشرو در زمینه تحقیقات و جز گروه U15 میباشد. تعداد دانشجویان دوره کارشناسی 22852 (سال 2011)، و تعداد دانشجویان دوره کارشناسی ارشد و بالاتر 3588(سال 2011) می باشد. یکی از محاسن این دانشگاه، شهر همیلتون است! همیلتون یکی از شهرهای دانشجویی-کارگری در کاناداست که این نکته هزینه زندگی را در مقایسه با شهرهای دیگر کانادا بسیار کاهش می دهد!
هزینه های خورد و خوراک، رفت و آمد و به خصوص مسکن برای یک زندگی دانشجویی مناسب می باشد!
آب و هوای مناسب و وجود آبشارهای زیاد ویژگی های دیگر این شهر هستند!
همیلتون نزدیک شهر تورنتو می باشد!
یکی دیگر از نکات خیلی مهم این دانشگاه این است که پذیرش از این دانشگاه در رشته های مهندسی در تحصیلات تکمیلی همراه با فاند خواهد بود ولی میزان این فاند رشته به رشته تغییر خواهد کرد!
به عنوان مثال مهندسی شیمی یکی از بیشترین فاندهای این دانشگاه را دارد و سالیانه 20000 دلار کانادا خالص برای دانشجویان فوق لیسانس و دکتری پرداخت میشود!

من یکبار از منشی دپارتمان مهندسی شیمی این دانشگاه پرسیدم روند بررسی مدارک چیه، ایشون هم پاسخ زیر را دادند! شاید برای بقیه مفید باشه:
Before you application can be viewed by any Faculty member it must be deemed admissible by our admissions committee.
This process may take up to 6 weeks.
Once your applicaiton has been deemed admissible it will be circulated to the appropriate Faculty members for review.
This review may take up to 6 weeks.
Once this review is completed, it will be up to a Faculty member to make a recommendation to the School of Graduate Studies for your admission.
You will only be contacted via email once a decision has been made regarding your application.

!چند نکته به مطالب فوق اضافه کنم
یکی اینکه این دانشگاه برای اکثر مهندسی ها تافل 550 هم قبول می کنه!
اپلیکیشن فی این دانشگاه 100 دلار کانادا هست!
ددلاین دانشکده هاش با هم فرق می کنه، حتما دقت کنید!

سلام رفقا
من می خواستم بدونم که مک مستر فان خوب هم داره؟ اصلا خوب فان میده یا نه؟
من همه حداقل ها بلکه بالاترش رو هم دارم.
مقاله هم سه تا آی اس آی. واسه دکترای مکانیک می خوام.
کسی از رفقا هست از مک مستر واسه دکترای مکانیک فان گرفته باشه؟
