کنفرانس های معتبر در مهندسی کنترل (برق، ریاضیات کاربردی، مکانیک، هوافضا، مهندسی شیمی و....) معمولاً از طریق یکی از جامعه های علمی یا Society های زیر ساپورت علمی می شوند.

We would like to invite you to submit a paper to the 8th Loughborough Antennas &
Propagation Conference (LAPC 2012). This year’s conference will be held on the
12th – 13th November at the Burleigh Court International Conference Centre at
Loughborough University, UK. Here are some key facts about LAPC 2012:
* LAPC is the largest annual UK conference dedicated to the fields of antennas
and propagation
* This year we hope to attract 250 participants and 20 exhibiting companies.
* LAPC 2012 is technically co-sponsored by the IEEE Antennas and Propagation
Society (APS), IEEE Region 8 and The Institution of Engineering and Technology
(IET).
* All accepted papers with an attending author will be included in IEEE Xplore®
and listed on the SCOPUS database, subject to meeting all IEEE quality

Submit a video about Smart Grids for a chance to win $500
• Submit a 1-3-minute video showcasing the benefits of smart grids or innovative
smart grid concepts.
• Videos will be posted on the IEEE SmartGridComm website for visitors to vote for
the best video.
• Winning video will be shown at IEEE SmartGridComm, where the winner will receive
$500.
We invite students to submit a video presenting fresh and original views, which may stimulate the research community. In particular, we welcome short videos (duration:
1 to max. 3 minutes), which present original visions in either one of the following two categories:
• Explain innovative smart grid concepts: Dream up new applications, user interfaces, technologies, scenario’s enabling, or enabled by, smart grids. These should be at least conceptually explained; providing some technical solutions is not mandatory, but can
be a plus. For example, describe a new smart phone app that allows to monitor your
energy profile and provide incentives to reduce your energy usage (or stimulates use
of “green energy” coming from renewable sources).
• Showcase benefits of smart grids: i.e. why do we believe smart grids are necessary,
what challenges do smart grid concepts/technologies solve, etc.? For example, provide some quantification of energy requirements for electrical car charging and an how to
deal with it using an appropriate control mechanism.
