Make your reading strong!

In this thread I wanna discuss the ways you can fortify your knowledge of reading.
Any contribution would be appreciated.

There are a number of ways by which you can let your reading step forward, one of whom is surfing online papers.
You have so many choices, but my advice is, for first steps:
N.Y. Times
It's marvelous, full of new words, phrases and of course eye-catching real stories.
Were I you, surely give it a shot.
However my favorite is actually:
N.Y. Post
With my six month experiences with the online news hitting, I can say I've found it, N.Y Post, much more fruitful than any other ones.
The others could be:
the Washington Post, the Washington Times, USA Today and WSJ.

As you know having good skills in reading for "apply" exams and later on for studying abroad is substantially import for us which English have been a foreign language for us rather than second language (EFL vs ESL).i

According to my experience and recommendations, one of key points to increase the speed of our reading and in the same time understand it more comprehensively is to read and understand phrases and collocations rather than word by word.

This is also very beneficial for our writing and help us to use those phrases and collocations which make our works more close to the texts written by native speakers
